Last weekend we showcased our stunning new collection at one of our favourite wedding venues, Nonsuch Mansion, who we have been lucky enough to work in partnership with for many years now. Situated within the beautifully manicured grounds of Nonsuch Park, this Georgian gem is the perfect backdrop for intimate weddings.
The snow had finally eased off, thankfully, allowing local suppliers and newlyweds to attend the event safely. We met lots of lovely new potential clients who were all impressed with not only our new collection, but it was a couple of our new cake flavours, Prosecco Rose and Double Lemon Gin & Tonic, who really stole the show. So, of course, our new trend this week had to be focused on deliciously naughty, but oh so nice, Booze-Infused Cakes!
It’s light, fluffy and delicately pretty with a delicious kick of Italian fizz running through the centre. A firm favourite with the ladies, and gentleman and a flavour that will go down a real treat for weddings, birthdays and even Mother’s Day.
Double Lemon and Gin & Tonic
A boozy twist infused with the classic Lemon Drizzle Cake. Gin & Tonic is resurfacing as a very trendy tipple right now so what not enjoy it in a cake too? At least that way it’s more than acceptable to enjoy a cheeky G&T before the kids have gone to bed!
It’s the retro flavour of cake sponges, Tiramisu. A cake that has been loved by grown-ups for decades and is still a huge hit with our clients. With a creamy texture and rich, indulgent flavour ooze nostalgia and warmth making it a comforting firm favourite in the flavour department.
Sloe Gin & Plum
A perfect entertaining flavoured cake. It’s bursting with the warming flavours of Sloe Gin and all the spices reminiscent of the festive season.
Bursting with vibrant colour and refreshing flavour, the Mojito cocktail inspired cake is fun and delicious! Complimented with pecans and topped off with limes. A Mojito cake is definitely one to get your guests into the celebration mode.
