The summer has flown by in a haze of designing, baking, icing and setting up at an array of stunning wedding venues across London, Surrey and beyond.

It was our busiest wedding season to date. So we are welcoming the autumnal period with open arms and a big sigh of relief. We made it through and as a team, we are super proud of everything we created and achieved during one of our most successful and hottest summers in the ADC kitchens.

But before we change gear, the team had to prepare and rehearse for one of the most exciting events on the wedding planning calendar: The National Wedding Show at London, Olympia.

The National Wedding Show 2018 

As a long-standing exhibitor at the show, we know that it’s not one to be missed. We always look forward to showcasing some new designs that we’ve been innovating and discussing over the summer ready to make their debut at the biggest wedding show of the year.

The exhibition never fails to be a success. The team love meeting new brides and potential clients, chatting about their plans and ideas whilst they taste a selection of our delicious cake samples.

The Hitched Wedding Planning Platform 

In addition to showcasing our creations, we were thrilled to be invited to be a part of the Hitched Wedding Planning Platform again for the second year in a row this year. Our leading lady Ann took to the stage each day over the course of the three-day event to offer her expertise and give our Top Tips When Planning Your Wedding Cake to crowds at the show.

If there were nerves, they didn’t show. Ann chatted to brides-to-be with confidence and ease followed by intimate discussions answering questions and giving further insight into the world of wedding cake designing. The team were super proud of Ann for yet again branching out of comfort zones and taking Ann’s Designer Cakes to a whole new level.
