Over the past year, Ann’s Designer Cakes have been working relentlessly in so many different areas of the business. We’ve been trying to improve the way that we work as a team and with our clients. To deliver the highest level of creativity and service as a leading wedding industry supplier.

We made a conscious effort to really embrace the wonderful feedback that we receive from our clients. Putting our customer service attributes at the forefront of our business moving into the New Year.

All of our hard work, effort and the long, long hours spent in our studio and kitchens has most definately paid off. Ann’s Designer Cakes can now officially call ourselves an Award Winning Artisan Cake Company...and we’ve got a shiny new plaque to prove it.

An Evening In Oxford

It only seems like last week that we were heading off into London, for the Guides For Brides Awards 2018.

An event that turned out to be a wonderfully successful night as we came home as proud finalists and runners up in our category. This year, the awards ceremony crept up on us, but the team were really excited to again put on something fancy and head out for an evening together. This time in beautiful Oxford at The Bodleian Libraries.

The awards were fabulous from start to finish.

From the stunning setting to the food, catered by Oxford Fine Dining and the brilliant entertainment by The Blue Lion Band. We also laughed a lot having photos taken in the FreezeFrame Photobooth.

But of course, the most special part of the evening for us was the awards ceremony.

Hosted by Peter Edge- Laughter of Ceremonies, we sat with anticipation as they announced each category and the winners. Last year’s award had truly been a surprise. Now this year we were really holding out for something more, even though we were nominated alongside some amazing industry colleagues.

We were beyond thrilled to hear our name being announced at the winner.

To win an award for your company, one that you’ve worked so long and hard to build really is one of the ultimate achievements one can hope for. Ann and the team are so proud of this award. It has already taken pride of place in our consultation room.

Thank you so much to each and everyone one of our clients who voted and supported us in the lead up to these awards. They mean so much to us. This award is a fantastic reminder of all of the support we’ve received from our wonderful clients. It also ensures that we keep up this level of service as an award-winning business.

A huge thank you to Guides for Brides for such a wonderful event and for your continued support. We absolutely love working alongside such a fantastic team of people and for a company who provides such a brilliant wedding planning platform for brides to be.
