About Our Cakes

All our cakes are freshly baked to order using only the finest ingredients; we create delicious moist cakes with layers of homemade buttercreams, luxury jams, preserves and only the finest Belgian chocolates.

We supply a vast range of sponge cake flavours as well as traditional fruit cake and Traditional Rum Black cake.

A minimum of 2 weeks’ notice for celebration cakes and 8 weeks’ notice for wedding cakes is requested. We will always try to accommodate cakes with less notice, but it may not always be possible. Early booking is advisable, especially if your event is during peak wedding season, as we take orders up to 18 months in advance.

All of our cakes can be modified to suit the number of tiers required and the cost is reflected upon your chosen style.

We can discuss your dietary requirements and accommodate where possible.

We create tiered celebration cakes, towers of cupcakes and mini cakes and design a vast selection of wedding cookies and favours to compliment your theme and colour.

Cake Storage

Cakes need to be stored in a cool, dark place (not in the fridge).  Sponge cakes will stay fresh for 2-3 days after delivery, fruit cakes can last for several months

Stand Hire

Ann’s Designer Cakes have a number of stands available to hire, when ordering a cake from us.  The prices range from £10 to £35 depending upon style.  A security deposit is also required, which will be refunded upon safe return of the stand.

Cake Delivery

We offer a delivery and set up service for your wedding cake and we require your venue address and post code to calculate this cost for you.

We strongly recommended that we deliver and set up your wedding cake.  We will liaise with the venue to arrange a time to deliver and set up the cake at your venue on the day of your wedding.
